Chantelle Fava
46:23
Can you please talk about timeline? I see it needs to be completed by end of June, when would funds be released to start the project?
christinekdavey
46:36
HI all - if project has to be delivered by June, what does this mean? EG, if a play does deliver mean script? Creative development workshops? Production of script?

Hi Fiona/ Martin, this has been very informative session. And the ideas I have had i will pursue and see if others who live in Geelong o test its validity prior to approaching..as I don’t live in Geelong as you know.
Matthew Gardiner
47:00
…. I’m interested in the assessment criteria, is there any more information on how these might be evaluated?
Kerrie
47:23
Who do we speak with to discuss our suggested projects?
Stephen Oakes
48:00

51:07
Under chantelle
Duncan Esler

52:52
On timeline again - if we are proposing to have public art works installed within the timeline, would they need to be de-installed by June as well?
christinekdavey
52:56

lightdesignsaustralia
53:28
Thank you Fiona and Martin, I need to leave the meeting now. If I can fit my Idea together I will speak soon, Best wishes to you all there.
Duncan Esler
54:17
@lightdesignsaustralia, thank you. Strongly encourage you to phone for a chat to talk about the project, even if only partially conceived.
Emma Russell
54:46
I’m an outsider but could get support from a body inside Geelong. Would I apply with a letter of support or does that body need to apply and nominate me?
Chantelle Fava
55:21
The screen share didn’t work for me, Can you please email the pages that had the highlighted points?
christinekdavey
55:24
EG - commissioning of a play - will this be a reading? A presentation of script? Actual production?
Matthew Gardiner
56:04
the call uses language of collaboration, but the call is for the ‘artist’ - are collaborations a requirement in particular categories, or could this be a single ‘artist’ project? it seems so, but there are aims that connect with collaborators...
Nick Lawson
56:34
Thank you
Duncan Esler
57:41
@ChristineDavey I'm currently on leave, but you can phone Fiona for a chat and I'm certain she will be able to help
Duncan Esler
01:00:05
@matthewgardiner, whether or not collaboration is appropriate would dependent on the project. Collaboration is desirable but not essential, and may potentially improve a project's chances of funding for instance if there is a strong alignment with a pre-existing similar project. I suggest a chat with Fiona.
Matthew Gardiner
01:00:33
@duncan, thanks, I can see how there are multiple possibilities here, its quite broad.
Mirjana Lozanovska
01:03:44
Thanks Duncan - that is much clearer
Laine Hogarty
01:04:35
Martin you mentioned having evidence of track record in a specific area. If an idea is outside the usual scope of work the artist creates, does this mean the idea would be blocked on the basis of it being outside the scope of the artist’s regular practice?
Laine Hogarty
01:05:37
Can a Geelong artist chose to collaborate with a non-Geelong business or artist?
Laine Hogarty
01:06:56
Also does the fabrication of works need to be Geelong based?
Emma Russell
01:07:41
One question is to attach a full budget. Do you have a preferred format?
Laine Hogarty
01:08:36
